Olga Buraya-Kefelian’s Aranami Shawl has a modular construction that creates a design reminiscent of an ocean with foamy waves on its surface. The shawl features 5 colors of Brooklyn Tweed Loft (100% Targhee-Columbia) whose lush colorways complement each other beautifully.
Each kit contains 5 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Loft (1 skein of each color) in the color combination of your choice and the pattern for Aranami Shawl which will make one shawl with a 67” wingspan and 14” depth. Please note: Our sample knitter went into a second skein of her dominant color (Plume), but only by a few yards. If you don't feel comfortable modifying the pattern if you run slightly short, please consider picking up an extra skein of the color you're planning to use at the top of your shawl. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US3 32” or longer circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
