Andrea Mowry’s Weekender Light is a fingering-weight, summer version of her popular worsted-weight sweater. The drop shoulders, faux seams, and reverse stockinette texture are combined with a generous amount of positive ease. Knit in Brooklyn Tweed’s Loft (100% Targhee-Columbia), a woolen-spun yarn that provides structure without weight, Weekender Light is flattering and easy to wear.
Sizing
The Weekender Light is available in 10 sizes and is designed to be worn with 10” positive ease. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment. To achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is 10" larger than your chest measurement.
- Size 1: 36” chest circumference
- Size 2: 40” chest circumference
- Size 3: 44” chest circumference
- Size 4: 48” chest circumference
- Size 5: 52” chest circumference
- Size 6: 56” chest circumference
- Size 7: 60” chest circumference
- Size 8: 64” chest circumference
- Size 9: 68” chest circumference
- Size 10: 72” chest circumference
Each kit contains sufficient yarn in the color of your choice to make the indicated size and the pattern for The Weekender Light. We will purchase a copy of The Weekender Light for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US2 32-40” circular needle and DPNs, and US4 32-40” circular needle and DPNs (or size needed to achieve gauge).
